BST Hyde Park - 6/7/14

Last Sunday I went to BST Hyde Park where McBusted were headlining.

When we got there, we got upgraded to premium view, which meant closer to the stage!!

Me and my friend arrived pretty early as we were hoping to see as many acts as possible.
We started off seeing Only The Young, who are a new 4 piece british pop band from Margate.
They covered alot of songs as they haven't written many themselves yet, but were claiming to be in the process of writting an album (eekk!)
We were running back and fourth from the main stage and the village hall and got to see Scouting For Girls, Diversity, Ollie Marland, Elyar Fox, Rixton, The Vamps and a few others.

The general atmosphere of the festival was pretty chilled and this felt more like a family day out kind of festival than your usual rowdy/messy festival (ahem ahem reading).

When it got to the Backstreet Boys it started raining and we found shelter in the Barclaycard Unlimited tent where Rixton were playing a more intimate set. I think they just gained a new fan, they were really good and I love their song 'me and my broken heart'!
One of the band members also had a pair of sunglasses that read 'Lads on tour' and he threw it out to the crowd at the end of their set and my friend caught it haha. Well it kinda landed at her feet and she picked it up; the girls infront were giving us evils, so funny when you don't even try yet you still make people jealous, hashtag hellyeah.

McBusted were playing a 2 hour set and we were so excited. Although it was raining, it didn't dampen our mood! Their set was exactly the same as their arena tour and the vibe was amazing!
They sang 'Air Hostess' twice! And when they were singing '5 colours in her hair' a rainbow formed! Such a beautiful end to a beautiful day! :)

When the festival finished we walked to Marble Arch station only to find out it was closed. So we walked to Bond Street station where we passed illegal merch people and me and Kim fangirled so hard when we saw a poster of 5SOS hahahahaha. Literally screamed in the middle of the street, I don't even know why.

Anywayyyyyy, it was a perfect day to end the week and I'm really happy I got to go!

Did anyone else go?! If so, who was your fav?

BST Hyde Park continues this weekend, with Neil Young & Crazy Horse headlining! They also have Tom Odell and Lucy Rose on the main stage (ahhhhhh!)
