Discover Film Festival

Last weekend, I attended the Discover Film Festival at Phoenix cinema in East Finchley, London.

Discover Film is an online site where budding film makers can upload their films to be watched by the world. It specialises in short films and feature films.

I was lucky enough to be able to watch a handful of them on a big screen with some of the filmakers present.

The short films I watched included; The Barber's Cut, Polterheist, Noctural Butterfly, Dying Light, Wasps Nest and a few others. They were mainly supernatural horrors films as you can tell from most of the titles. After the two hour screening, we were given a slip of paper where we had to choose our favourite film. I opted for Barber's Cut as it was humorous yet dark.

I would like to thank Discover Films for having me, you can check out all the short films and website here!
